The Jazz did a good job last night on offense as they shot 53.2% from the floor to pull out a nice home win. Carlos Boozer led the way with 28 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals. Mehmet Okur was also tough inside as he finished with 20 points, 12 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 blocked shots. Deron Williams did a great job of running the offense as he finished with 17 points, 5 rebounds, 20 assists and 2 blocked shots. Kyle Korver pitched in with 17 points in only 24 minutes. The Jazz are now 39-22 on the season.

The Utah Jazz aren’t getting much from their rookies

The Jazz have not gotten much from their rookies this season. First round pick Morris Almond has been nailed to the bench so far this season. He has played in only 6 games (0 starts) and he is averaging 4.2 minutes, 0.5 points and 0.2 assists per game. Center Kyrylo Fesenko also hasn’t done much this season. He has played in 7 games (0 starts) this season and he is averaging 9.1 minutes, 1.4 points, 3.3 rebounds and 0.3 assists per game. It will be interesting to watch these two guys’ careers as they likely won’t break into the Jazz’ rotation for quite some time.

Utah Jazz 113, Memphis Grizzlies 92

The Jazz shot 57% from the floor last night and they outscored the Grizzlies 91-64 in the last three quarters! Carlos Boozer led the way for the Jazz with 18 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals. Mehmet Okur had another solid game as he finished with 17 points, 13 rebounds and 2 assists. Kyle Korver was outstanding off the bench with 17 points in only 24 minutes. Andrei Kirilenko and Ronnie Brewer each pitched in with 16 points apiece. The Jazz are now 38-22 on the season.

New Orleans Hornets 110, Utah Jazz 98

The Jazz fell to the Hornets on Friday Night despite outrebounding them 45-34! Mehmet Okur led the way for the Jazz in this game with 23 points and 13 rebounds. Deron Williams was outstanding as usual as he finished up with 22 points, 2 rebounds and 10 assists. Ronnie Brewer pitched in with 15 points and 4 rebounds. The Jazz are now 37-22 on the season.
