2. (53) Tadija Dragicevic, PF

The Jazz took another player from outside the United States with their 2nd pick in the 2nd round of the NBA Draft. Dragicevic is 6′9″, 222 pounds but he’s not really a power player. He has played in 28 games in the pros overseas and he averaged 13.3 points, 4.4 rebounds and 0.8 assists per game. This is another player that the Jazz will have to be patient with.

2. (44) Ante Tomic, C

The Utah Jazz like to span the globe in the NBA Draft and that’s exactly how they found 2nd round pick Ante Tomic. Tomic is 7′1″, 225 pounds and he is from Croatia. Tomic has a lot of experience playing in the pro overseas as he has played in 138 games (76 starts) and he have averaged 13.3 points, 6.0 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game. The Jazz’ roster is so stacked for next season that they could afford to take a flier on a player like Tomic.

1. (23) Kosta Koufos, C

The Jazz were happy to see 19-year old center Kosta Koufos available in the first round when their pick came up. He is 7′0″, 265 pounds but his game is a lot like Mehmet Okur’s as he’s a good outside shooter. Koufos played in 37 games (35 starts) at Ohio State and he averaged 14.4 points, 6.7 rebounds, 0.5 assists and 1.8 blocked shots per game. Koufos is a very solid shooter as evidenced by his 50.8% shooting from the floor at Ohio State. Look for Koufos to backup Mehmet Okur as a rookie but he could develop into a starter down the road.
