The Utah Jazz are likely very willing to deal Devin Harris

Blogged under Bloglockers,Front Page,General,Need to step up by admin on Monday 12 March 2012 at 3:04 pm

The Jazz are likely going to try to deal Devin Harris this week.  He has played in 38 games (all starts) for the Jazz so far this year and he is averaging 25.5 minutes, 9.6 points, 1.4 rebounds, 4.4 assists and 1.0 steal per game.  The Jazz thought that Harris would be a decent replacement for Deron Williams, but he has been sub par.  I just don’t see Harris on the Jazz past this week as he has been a huge disappointment for them so far this year.

Jeremy Evans is buried on the Utah Jazz’ bench

Blogged under Bloglockers,Front Page,General by admin on Sunday 4 March 2012 at 8:27 pm

24-year old forward Jeremy Evans might have won the NBA’s Dunk Contest at the All-Star Game, but he’s buried on the Jazz’ bench. Evans has played in 17 games (0 starts) for the Jazz so far this year and he is averaging 6.6 minutes, 1.8 points, 1.2 rebounds and 0.5 assists per game. He has now played in 66 games (3 starts) in his first two years with the Jazz and he is averaging 8.7 minutes, 3.2 points, 1.8 rebounds and 0.5 assists per game. Evans is shooting an amazing 67.2% from the floor in his first two years with the Jazz, but that’s obviously not good enough to get him on the court.

The Utah Jazz like what they’ve seen from their rookies

Blogged under Bloglockers,Front Page,General,Rookie Reports by admin on Sunday 4 March 2012 at 8:23 pm

20-year old shooting guard Alec Burks and 19-year old Enes Kanter have made the most of their P.T. so far this year. Burks has played in 31 games (0 starts) for the Jazz so far this year and he is averaging 12.8 minutes, 6.1 points, 1.8 rebounds and 0.7 assists per game. Burks comes off the bench shooting the rock and he has a huge upside. Enes Kanter has played in 36 games (0 starts) for the Jazz so far this year and he is averaging 14.5 minutes, 5.0 points, 5.0 rebounds and 0.1 assists per game. Kanter and Burks are going to be starters down the road for the Jazz and they both have huge upsides!
